Style: Charlotte Olympia Sirens Collection

With the warm weather making an unseasonably early appearance, fashion lovers everywhere are getting excited about wearing the latest Spring/Summer trends. London’s shoe designer du jour, Charlotte Olympia, has created a collection full of whimsical art deco styles, the perfect fashion treat for your feet.

With their quirky spiral heels and cute Miami inspired prints, including palm leaves and pink flamingos, the Sirens collection perfectly encapsulates the 40s and 50s holiday trend. When Charlotte previewed them back in September at the Royal Institute of British Architects, she filled the room with sand and had mermaid models showing off the collection.

The dusty pink ‘Ursula’ heels are embellished with adorable sea shells, a cute and kitsch take on the underwater trend seen on the S/S12 runways. Meanwhile, the architectural style of the spiral heels recalls 50s patio furniture and are matched with the ‘Leaf Me Alone’ banana leaf print, hitting this summer’s print trend right on its head.

The look is completed with a new range of sunglasses made in collaboration with London designer Linda Farrow. Look out for the pink flamingo feather pair, just the thing for Miami dreaming.
